Seth Rogan’s Pineapple Express which stars he and James Franco, opened to strong fanfare and ticket sales on August 6th.  The movie received lots of media attention as each actor made the rounds on the talk show circuit.  Franco appeared on Jimmy Kimmell last night (Thursday) to talk abou the film and some of the interesting scenes he was a part of.

Pineapple Express is a comic effort about two lazy friends who witness a murder by a crooked cop and then become the target of street thugs who need to wipe them out.  Written by Seth Rogan, the movie has been well received already by both critics and movie audiences.  Yahoo select critics rated the theatrical release a B, while already over 2000 movie goers have scored the film an A- on Yahoo Users’ Review.

Sounds like Pineapple Express could be a great source of entertainment and stars two bright young actors, Seth Rogan and James Franco.  Looks like it could be a good weekend for the film, as it looks to be the movie to knock about Dark Knight off the top box office spot.
