Batman: The Dark Knight starring Christian Bale comes to theatres

While the focus of Movie Room Reviews is upcoming and new release DVD movie reviews, we felt we’d be remiss if we didn’t remind those living under rocks that Batman:  The Dark Knight, starring Christian Bale, and the late Heath Ledger, comes to movie theatres near you this Friday, July 11th!

Expectations are a huge for a big box office for this edition of the adventures of the caped crusaders and his arch nemesis.  Consider the already powerful marketing machine that is Warner Bros. (watch movie trailers and learn more), the societal infatuation with super hero movies, and Christian Bale star power.  Then, you throw in the natural intrigue audiences will have to see the late Heath Ledger in his final act.  It could be a big summer for Gotham City.

Along with Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, this all-star cast includes:  MIchael Caine, Gary Oldman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman.
